It is helpful as a first step in starting treatment or as a second opinion to established care. It is the ideal place to start if you are unsure about whether or not you need treatment, and what treatment might look like.

Psychotherapy is one of the most powerful tools we have in resolving depression, anxiety, and various conflicts around work, relationships, and self-esteem. Whether you have a specific obstacle in mind or a general feeling of “stuck”-ness, we can meet to discuss if various types of therapy – whether with me or with an outside referral – may be appropriate for your needs.

Your mental health is about much more than labels and chemistry. We will discuss and optimize the details of your habits, diet, sleep, exercise, and other lifestyle factors that play crucial roles in your performance and wellbeing.
Fees and Payment
Initial evaluations are scheduled for 90 minutes and subsequent follow-ups are scheduled for 45 minutes. All sessions are a flat fee of $400. Payments are due at the end of each session unless we come to a different arrangement. I accept cash, personal check, all major credit cards as well as Health Savings Account cards, Flexible Spending Account cards. There are no additional fees for medication refills, contact between sessions, and other related services.
About Insurance
I do not participate in any insurance plans and am considered an Out-of-Network Provider. I practice this way as it allows us more time, flexibility, confidentiality, and with fewer restrictions imposed by insurance plans. Many of my patients collect partial reimbursement from their insurance companies as part of their generous out-of-network benefits. I will provide a receipt and necessary documents to obtain reimbursement after each visit. I do not work with Medicare in any capacity.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I ask that you provide at least 48 hour's notice. For late cancellations or missed appointments, I reserve the right to charge the session's full fee.
